The International Society for Applied Biological Sciences (ISABS), an “Association Academy” of the AAFS, is kindly inviting you to the 11th ISABS Conference on Forensic and Anthropologic Genetics and Mayo Clinic Lectures in Individualized Medicine, to be held in Split, Croatia, June 17–22. The conference is next in the series of biennial events organized by the ISABS, Mayo Clinic, and St. Catherine Hospital.
The 11th ISABS conference will feature more than 70 distinguished lecturers from the leading world institutions, such as Mayo Clinic, Harvard Medical School, Columbia University, Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania, MIT, Duke University, Max-Planck-Institute, Case Western Reserve University, Pennsylvania State University, The Wistar Institute, The George Washington University, Erasmus University Medical Center, and many others. In addition, Nobel Lectures will be given by Laureates Robert Huber (Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry), Avram Hershko (Technion), Paul Modrich (Duke University), and Ada Yonath (Weizmann Institute of Science). They will be discussing cutting-edge topics in personalized medicine, forensic genetics, and molecular anthropology with more than 500 participants from over 45 countries.
In attendance at the 11th ISABS conference will be the Croatian President, Minister of Health, Minister of Science and Education, and Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia as well as the AAFS President, Zeno J. Geradts, and the AAFS President of International Affairs Committee, Dragan Primorac. During the conference, AAFS and ISABS will hold a joint session on advances in forensic sciences. The deadline for abstract submission is April 21.
