The nomination period for the 2020–21 Ambassador of Forensic Science Award has been extended to September 1.

Ambassador of Forensic Science Award

Summary of Criteria: The recipient may be an individual or group that has advanced the recognition of the power of forensic science in the pursuit of justice through public service or journalistic or humanitarian efforts. Academy members are not eligible for this award. It is designed to highlight the contributions of non-scientists to the forensic science community, such as reporters, government officials, or non-profit groups. See Policy and Procedure Manual Section 6.1.5.
