After consultation with the AAFS Board of Directors (BOD) and Wiley, a decision has been made to implement an online advertising program in the Journal of Forensic Sciences (JFS). The AAFS BOD formally approved this action after the August 2019 AAFS Executive Committee Meeting.
Many organizations already include advertising in their journals and JFS will follow the formats that are common in the publication community. The initiative will be launched with on-line banner and cover sheet (ePDF) advertising. The JFS Editorial Office will work closely with Wiley’s Marketing Team to ensure the ads are exclusively from companies associated with forensic science.
We are excited about this new JFS initiative and expect a significant demand for the ad space from the forensic science business community. The ad revenue generated as a result will be of financial benefit to AAFS and, in turn, its membership.
