National Forensic Science Week, formed in recognition of the important role that proper forensic science plays in the investigation of crimes throughout the nation, is September 19-25, 2021.

To commemorate this important recognition, the Journal of Forensic Sciences (JFS) leadership has compiled a virtual issue entitled, Forensic Science and Terrorism.

In this JFS Virtual Issue, outstanding articles have been selected to demonstrate the recent scientific developments of our understanding of terrorist behavior and their profiles. As we gain more knowledge of these factors, we will be better equipped to combat terrorism.

The JFS Virtual Issue is available on JFS WOL: Forensic Science and Terrorism

The JFS leadership is excited about this new JFS Virtual Issue, and to it serving as our contribution to acknowledge and commemorate National Forensic Science Week.
