I am delighted to announce that the Journal of Forensic Sciences (JFS) had a 27% increase in its Impact Factor for the calendar year 2020. It increased from 1.441 for 2019 to 1.832 for 2020.

My thanks and gratitude are extended to the JFS Editorial Board Members and JFS Guest Reviewers – as it is their dedication and effort that make JFS what it is today. JFS has an exciting future ahead and that could not happen without their contributions.

Thank you for your continued support of JFS and its initiatives. For questions, please contact JFS Managing Editor Brenda Peat at
