The Journal of Forensic Sciences (JFS) Editorial Office has been working on a new journal format for article content as well as a new JFS cover, with a goal to launch both initiatives with the January 2021 issue. We are thrilled to inform you that articles are now being typeset in the new format and that you will start to see this format for JFS 2021 articles available via Early View. An additional announcement will be forthcoming over the next few weeks regarding the new JFS cover, as well as Highlights, both of which are also being launched with the JFS January 2021 issue.

We are excited about these initiatives that will give JFS a new, modern look as we continue to move JFS forward. We hope you, the AAFS members, will be excited with the new look too!
