AAFS International Affairs Committee Chair Dragan Primorac presenting Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic with a Certificate of Honorary Membership in the AAFS.

I recently had the pleasure of presenting the Republic of Croatia President, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, a Certificate of Honorary Membership in the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS).

Some of you met the President during the AAFS International Educational Outreach Program in Croatia on June 14-21, 2015, and some of you met her during the International Society for Applied Biological Sciences (ISABS) 2017 Conference (www.isabs.hr). Mrs. Grabar-Kitarović was always very supportive of AAFS and ISABS collaboration, as well as of the international collaboration on the fight against crime and international terrorism.

AAFS 2016-17 President John Gerns proposed Mrs. Grabar-Kitarović for the status of AAFS Honorary Member and his proposal was approved by the AAFS Board of Directors in April of 2016.
