The IFRI (http://ifri.fiu.edu) at Florida International University (FIU) is pleased to invite you to the 6th Annual IFRI Symposium to be held on Tuesday, May 9, and Wednesday, May 10, 2017, on the FIU Modesto A. Maidique (MMC) Campus in Miami, FL.

This year’s symposium coincides with the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Institute, and we look forward to continuing the excellent tradition of engaging keynote speakers, workshops, and presentations covering a wide range of topics in forensic science. The conference is being organized by Professor of Chemistry and American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) Fellow Jose Almirall; plenary speakers include AAFS 2008-09 President Carol Henderson, JD, and AAFS Fellow Cecelia Crouse.

We invite you to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation. Registration is free, but space is limited. Please go to go.fiu.edu/IFRI to register and/or submit an abstract. The deadline to submit an abstract is April 14, 2017.

Should you have any questions, please contact Jose Almirall at almirall@fiu.edu.
