As mentioned in the AAFS Basic Requirements for Trainee Affiliate, each Trainee Affiliate must certify eligibility annually. Trainee Affiliate is a temporary status and may only be held until you have completed the experience required for Associate Member.
Please review the section requirements for Associate Member on our website at www.aafs.org. If you meet the experience requirements as outlined by your section, you are required to submit an application for upgrade to Associate Member by October 1, 2018. You may either submit your application online at www.aafs.org (please feel free to contact me if you do not have your login information) or you may download the application and mail it. If you do not meet the experience requirements, you are required to submit the Annual Trainee Affiliate Eligibility Form, completed by your immediate supervisor, by Monday, September 24.
Failure to complete one of the aforementioned options will result in the termination of your Trainee Affiliate status on December 31. You will not be eligible to pay your 2019 dues until the eligibility form is received or your application for upgrade is recommended for approval by the Section Officers.
