Updated Policy and Procedure Manual Now Available

An updated AAFS Policy and Procedure Manual has been posted to the website HERE. The Table of Contents is linked to the appropriate pages in order to ease the navigation. The following updates were approved by the 2020–21 Board of Directors:

1.1.5. Revisions to the Manual – Addition of timelines and requirements for section officers to implement revisions.

6.1.2. The Gradwohl Medallion – Clarification of nominating procedure and required submission documentation. Amendment to medallion award.

6.1.3. The Distinguished Fellow Award – Clarification of nominating procedure and required submission documentation.

6.1.4. The Douglas M. Lucas Medal – Clarification of nominating procedure and required submission documentation.

6.5.10.2. Reinstatement of Suspended Members or Affiliates – Clarification regarding dates of membership.

6.5.10.3. Reinstatement of Some Expelled Members or Affiliates – Clarification regarding those eligible to apply for reinstatement and dates of membership.

6.15.1. Program Committee Composition – Addition of required membership status for chairs.

6.16.4.2. Forensic Science in Focus Composition – Clarification of member terms.
