A workshop on the Role and Value of Voluntary Consensus Standards Use in Forensics will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Sponsored by ASTM Committee E30 on Forensic Sciences, the workshop will be held virtually.

Participants will have received and overview of the value of voluntary consensus standards to forensics, and detailed training on how to use select ASTM E30 standards. Representative standards under the jurisdiction of subcommittees E30.01, E30.11 and E30.12 which cover the criminalistics, interdisciplinary and digital multimedia disciplines of forensic sciences.
