ASB is pleased to announce that Teresa Ambrosius has been selected as the organization’s new Secretariat, following the retirement of Brad Wing.

Teresa started with the AAFS Standards Board in January 2016 as its first Technical Coordinator. Teresa’s knowledge of data management and understanding of the documentation needs of standards development have ensured that ASB’s work moves along effectively and in consonance with ASB’s accreditation requirements under the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). In addition, Teresa enjoys excellent working relationships with the volunteer members of the Consensus Bodies and Work Groups, a situation which further enhances her new role as Secretariat.

ASB Board of Directors and the Communications Liaison are excited to work with Teresa in this new capacity and are confident that she will guide ASB forward with the important work of providing strong national forensics standards, and will work to secure ASB’s recognition as a pre-eminent national standards developing organization serving the needs of United States forensic communities.
