The AAFS is implementing a new Abstract Submission System that will go live Monday, June 14. The new process will change the way we collect, manage, and review abstracts. We are confident the new system will be more user-friendly and require less time to complete a submission.

We are also excited to announce that the abstract submission deadline will be September 1, 2021! By extending the deadline a month, we are hoping to receive an abundance of submissions for consideration for the upcoming 2022 Annual Scientific Conference in Seattle, WA, next February.

Please consider how you can implement President Carl McClary’s theme, A Responsive Academy—Meeting and Surpassing the Challenges of a Modern Forensic Science World, when planning your submissions.

Abstract Submission Guidelines will be available on the AAFS website that will outline the new process and provide a direct link to the system. Stay tuned …!
