International Letter of Invitation to AAFS Annual Scientific Meeting

Our international attendees always add a great deal of value to the AAFS Annual Scientific Meetings, and we encourage all to participate. However, international attendees may need to secure a Non-Immigrant Visa for travel to the United States, and for that you may need an AAFS Letter of Invitation. To request one, please email Christopher Drake (cdrake@aafs.org) with the following information:

Salutation (Mr., Mrs., Ms., Dr., etc.):
First name:
Last name/family name:
Passport #:
Date of birth (please spell out month):
Country of nationality:
Street address (not email):
Short description of your involvement and experience in the forensic sciences:

Due to the possibly lengthy visa application and issuance process, you should request a Letter of Invitation as soon as you have decided to attend the AAFS annual meeting; we will email the requested letter back to you within a day or two.

Note that citizens of countries in the “Visa Waiver Program” (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/tourism-visit/visa-waiver-program.html) generally do not need a letter of invitation, but we are happy to provide one if you desire it.
