The Questioned Documents Section would like to recognize Trainee Affiliate Nina Harnarine who is the 2019 Maureen Casey Owens Award recipient. Nina received the award for her paper, A Comparative Study of Generation Y and Generation Z Signatures, that she presented at the recent AAFS Annual Scientific Meeting in Baltimore, MD.

This award is in recognition of the contributions made by Maureen Casey Owens to the field of Forensic Document Examination. Ms. Casey Owens served in several capacities in the Questioned Documents Section of the AAFS. She also served as the AAFS President in 1984-85. Ms. Casey Owens is the only person to have served concurrently as President of AAFS and the American Society of Questioned Document Examiners, Inc. (ASQDE).

Congratulations, Nina!
