The Digital & Multimedia Sciences (DMS) Section is seeking volunteers from the section who are interested in moderating a block of presentations during our Scientific Program currently scheduled for February 24–25, 2022.

As many of you know, the 2022 conference will be a hybrid event. This means people who wish to attend in person can, and those who cannot attend in person may attend virtually. At this time, we are not exactly sure what the moderator format will look like, but based on our current submissions, the majority of people wish to present in person, if possible.

The Academy will clarify the full role of the moderators in the near future and will advise what they need to do to be effective in this role.

For Associate Members and Members, serving as a moderator counts toward Academy promotional requirements. Please consider contributing to our Section and the Academy by volunteering your time as a moderator. If you would like to volunteer to moderate, please reach out to our Program Committee Chair, Kathryn Seigfried-Spellar (kspellar@purdue.edu), and/or Co-Chair, Levi White (levi.white@eagles.usm.edu). Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you in Seattle (or virtually) in February!
