Happy New Year! The 2015 Annual Meeting is fast approaching! I am certainly looking forward to some warmth and sun in a few weeks after all of this winter weather. The AAFS 67th Annual Scientific Meeting will be held February 16-21, in Orlando, FL, and the YFSF is looking forward to showing off our hard work for our special session. Registration for the YFSF Special Session is now open. If you are interested, please register early as registration fills up quickly every year! The YFSF Special Session is a three-day event that is geared towards an audience who has five years or less professional experience.

Registration for the YFSF Special Session includes:

Tuesday Morning and Afternoon (2/17):
A day-long session of speakers covering a variety of forensic science topics

Tuesday Evening (2/17):
The YFSF Bring Your Own Poster Session

Wednesday Evening (2/18):
The YFSF Bring Your Own Slides Session

Thursday Morning (2/19):
The YFSF Breakfast Session

Please check the Advance Program, as well as in the rest of the YFSF newsletter for all details concerning these events.

If you have an interest in serving on the 2015-16 YFSF Committee, feel to speak to me or any other current committee member about applying to serve on the YFSF Committee. The YFSF Committee is a great way to network and become more involved with AAFS.

The YFSF Committee looks forward to seeing everyone in Orlando!
