We are excited to announce that the Young Forensic Scientists Forum (YFSF) is undergoing organizational and structural changes to better the forum for both its committee members and the attendees of its sessions. The first major change involves the committee being reduced to five members. Alex Krotulski has been appointed as the YFSF Committee Chair, along with committee members Amanda Hail, Brittany Beyer, Elisa Shoff, and Zain Bhaloo. All five will be working passionately to see YFSF through this evolutionary period.
The second major change involves the restructuring of YFSF Sessions (e.g., Breakfast Session, Special Session, Bring Your Own Posters (BYOP), and Bring Your Own Slides (BYOS)) to both accommodate the young scientists attending as well as to integrate with the Academy as a whole. These changes to the sessions are still a work in progress and we are asking for your help in this transition! We have created a short survey to address some of the questions we have had as committee members over the past several years and will use these responses moving forward to shape our session. The survey will only take five minutes to complete and your feedback will be extremely beneficial. The survey can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/G78MDGW. Thank you in advance!
